Education
My journey into the world of journalism began during my senior year of high school. I enrolled in a journalism class responsible for producing the yearbook. In this role, I led a team that covered seven pages of content, allowing me to gain valuable experience in AP style writing, photo editing, and interviewing techniques.
Following high school, I embarked on my college education at Ozarks Technical Community College in Missouri, where I spent my first two years. In January 2021, I made the transfer to the University of Tennessee, where I am currently majoring in journalism and electronic media. During my time at UT, I've had the opportunity to take a wide range of courses, not only in journalism but also in the realm of entertainment.
The journalism courses I've taken have improved my writing style, ethical considerations, research methods, and gave me hands-on experience. I utilized my elective credits to take courses related to art, graphic novels, cinema, manga, and anime, all of which have deepened my understanding of the entertainment industry.
